Always keep informing the client your day to day work how much has been done and sending screenshots from time to time and asking for feedback everytime. Sometimes it might be very irritating to change a thing two and three times but you are here to gather reviews, once you have enough reviews, your approach will change slightly in terms of being more professional i.e, delivering only what promised and for further modifications, more charges will be applied.

Another thing to do is suggesting client better modifications so as to make him feel like you are doing the project for yourself and not for the client. Always aim at delivering more than what you promised. Always make the client feel that you are there for him for any time in future.

For example, in your bid description, you have said that you will provide 3 samples of different concept for a logo design, during delivery provide 4 samples to choose from. Similarly for article or content writing or digital promotion you can actually provide more than promised. This in turn will reflect in reviews and feedbacks and you can ask for a five star review if you provide extra.

For first year of freelancing, your focus should be on getting 3-5 works in each freelancing site and getting five star reviews. Once you achieve that, work will be in your feet. Now we are going to focus on how to get more works.
